Oisoi Studio has announced the successful closure of a €450,000 funding round led by ForsVC and angel investors Thomas & Emmanuel Dewitte. This investment will empower the studio to expand its work in immersive experiences.‍

Ghent, Belgium – May 7th, 2024 - OISOI STUDIO, based in Ghent, Belgium, has announced the successful closure of a €450,000 funding round led by ForsVC and angel investors Thomas & Emmanuel Dewitte.

This investment will empower the studio to expand its work in immersive experiences.

Oisoi Studio, known for its flagship product Painting VR, is leading the charge in merging art, gaming, and education using Virtual Reality (VR). Painting VR, a virtual painter's studio spanning over 10,000 square feet, offers users unlimited creative expression with innovative tools, infinite paint options, and canvases of all sizes. Partially developed with the support of Meta, Painting VR has gained popularity, appealing to diverse audiences.

A unique experience that perfectly showcases the potential of virtual reality for artistic expression. Headquartered in Ghent and co-founded by Wim Reygaert and Xander Clerckx, Oisoi Studio currently employs 8 full-time team members dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artistic immersive storytelling.

Since its launch, Painting VR has generated over $1.1 million USD in gross revenue, with sales exceeding 72,000 copies worldwide. This investment will enable Oisoi Studio to further refine Painting VR and explore new immersive experiences.
